Our Philosophy on Business Intelligence does not start or end with a software application. This sets us apart from most of our consulting colleagues. 

At BPM2, we are all about information; we thrive on it! To us, Business Intelligence begins with information put into context. Raw data is information, but until it is put into the proper context it does not represent anything usable. But data put into context is knowledge and knowledge leads to good decision making. The ability to make good decisions, we call wisdom. Without wisdom both people and companies will not achieve their goals.

We believe Business Intelligence is "the ability to apprehend the interrelationships of presented facts in such a way as to guide action towards a desired goal". Wait, doesn't this sound like Information Management? Yes, we think so too! In fact, we see Business Intelligence as part of the overall architecture of Information Management.
